Review on πŸ“Έ SLIK Mini Pro DQ 2-Section Table-Top Tripod - Black: Compact Stability for Ultimate Versatility by Kenny Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Holds a heavy DSLR and is stable.

I have taken a full size tripod many times and never used it for various reasons. Most of the time I'm in an urban setting and the size will get in the way of other people, or I'm in a museum or building where tripods cannot be used. Also, I try not to take 30 pounds of gear with me on vacation. But I've found that on many occasions I wish I had something to steady and hold my DSLR so I could focus on the shot instead of holding and securing it. Camera. Did a lot of research and read reviews. Decided to try this device. It seems well built and I've used it on a Canon 70D with a 28-300 lens and battery. Not an easy combination, but it worked well. There is a 1/4" screw on top for attaching the camera and the ball head appears to be securely attached. The legs extend about 1" when folded, and the center column rises about 1 1/2". I know there are more expensive devices out there but I tend to buy the cheaper ones. If I use them constantly I will upgrade as needed. This device does exactly what I wanted it to do.
