This little guy is definitely travel friendly! I've used it on several cashmere and wool sweaters recently. It took a bit of pressure to get the larger "pills" and to dislodge the lint from the wool pills, which made me nervous, but didn't punch any holes in them. It has low power and is not too loud. The front compartment can be a little heavy to hold onto the device, which is a bit annoying. Our time was enjoyable, but it ended when I was trying to clean the curling iron burns on the carpet. I bent the front cage quite slightly and the rotating blade on the inside cut the cage on the outside resulting in a large hole. It's all my fault. I never expected this little machine to be able to cut through hardened plastic. I would buy again but I think next time I'll take a stronger one.
