If you have a rough beard, suffer from irritation or other shaving problems, you need to try this product. I have tried other pre shave products and nothing compares to this one. Shaving oils are too greasy and irritate the skin. Proraso is a unique cream. Easy to use. Dab a little and rub well onto face. I like the tingling and the menthol. It's just great. More importantly, this material really softens your beard. I leave it on for about a minute before applying the shaving cream. Of course I also use Proraso in a bowl/brush sleeve. Nothing fancy or expensive. Apply lather to the shaving cream and proceed as usual. You will find that your razor glides easily. Not only will your skin be moisturized, but it won't become rough either. Daily use can make skin softer and smoother. I use a DE safety razor and the pre-shave routine has drastically changed my shaving experience. Softening your mustache is no easy task, especially if you live in a hard water area. This product really weakens the mustache so your blade can bevel it straight. Now I shave much smoother, no irritation, rarely cuts. Plus, your skin is so soft and shiny when you're done shaving. When I'm done shaving, I don't feel the need to use aftershave. Just a block of alum and a splash of cold water and I'm done. (buy high quality alum made in France, not India or China). Some people even use this preshave as an aftershave, but I don't. Depending on your skin type, you need to choose an aftershave. Doesn't really matter, but I just like that the jar is glass, not that the packaging really matters. The glass jug demonstrates Proraso's commitment to quality throughout the life of the product. High quality packaging exudes a sense of luxury. A can lasts several months with daily shaving. It's a small price to pay considering how much it improves the quality of your shave. This product is so good that I wouldn't care if I had to buy it twice as often and twice as much. Save your face for pennies a day and look your best.
