This cable replaces the very thick 30 foot Monoprice HOSS Active HDMI cable. This much thinner and lighter cable works just as well. The price of this cable is also much lower than other similar fiber optic cables. A small point: the ends are smooth and a little slippery when gripping. They're also quite long, so you might need to take that into account depending on where you install them. So far I am happy with this purchase.
