My lashes are about a week old and I wanted to take them off because I love applying makeup, rubbing my eyes and sleeping on my face. They were great, but I was fed up with them. So I tried olive oil, petroleum jelly, steam. etc. everything I've seen on YouTube and none of it has worked without tearing my natural lashes off! So I decided to give this product a try and was blown away by how it works! I mean it took a total of 5 minutes per eye to slowly remove ALL the eyelash extensions. I was concerned because people kept saying it would blow up or that it wouldn't work. Out of fear I applied a little with qtip. It only stings when you open your eye or apply it to the inside of the waterline or tear duct. Common sense - this product contains alcohol to break down the adhesive. So try to avoid these areas. Therefore gradually apply to the lash line on the outside of the eye, avoiding penetration into the tear duct. Wait 20-120 seconds. Then use qtip to slowly curl the lashes down and away from the eye. They go off like butter. Repeat the steps with a small amount of gel until all are removed. Also, I managed to get it in the eye, but it's a slight sting that lasts a second. It's almost like having a little shampoo in your eye. Just wash off and carry on. Easy.
