I used to slide my phone on top of my phone for flight issues while driving - maybe it's too heavy. Maybe he's too big. Maybe the phones on the air vent NEED to fly off when making a left turn. It turned out that the problem was in the mount. Every vent mount I've tried just can't hold the vent wings strong enough to stay in place. I mean, the grip of these mounts only covers little space and the phones are not lightweight. But I've found what I think is the best mount out there. This CAW.CAR vent mount has a heavy-duty spring that requires little force to open the "claw" that snaps onto the vent blade. Strong enough to open it requires two fingers - one on each side of the bracket. And once it's installed on my vents, it stays there. To be honest, I think the vent mount is stronger than the magnetic part of the mount, and the magnetic mount on my phone is also very strong. I placed one of the metal spacers (not magnetic themselves) in a phone case and snapped the case shut. back to my phone. and now it's a well kept phone. One piece of advice I've learned from other mounts is that when you remove your phone from the mount, don't pull it immediately - it puts a lot of strain on the mount's grip. Instead, pull one end of the phone away from the magnet. This makes it easier to remove the phone and you put less stress on the part of the mount that includes the air vent.
