Review on Freestyle2 Ergonomic Keyboard Standard Separation by Amy Johnson

I like this ergonomic keyboard, it has helped me with shoulder and arm strains. 4 stars because I have two problems with it. 1) The F7 key is on the left side and its presence there makes no sense. I'm used to F6 being the last key I can reach with my left finger, so I get confused when I have to press the F keys. I'm used to pressing F5 when refreshing the page without looking, now I have to waste an extra second to see or feel the F7 key. 2) There are two additional columns of keys on the left edge of the keyboard. I don't know why they are there, but it completely messed up my keyboard shortcuts like quickly pressing ctrl-c to copy, ctrl-v to paste, alt-tab through windows, etc. All of my quick non-view functions are now delayed because of extra keys. It's frustrating because I've mastered keyboard shortcuts where my left hand is resting on the left edge of the keyboard, but I can't do it anymore. To be honest, I wish they would make a version of this keyboard without the two extra columns of keys on the left and the F7 key on the right. I would like to buy when they come out. Again, great keyboard, you can adjust the keyboard to suit your posture and your hand position, which is very nice. But the above two issues have had a negative impact on my productivity. The extra keys on the left side of the keyboard don't help at all, I make more mistakes with them, they just get in the way. For reference, I've been using MS Natural Keyboard for the longest time. This has worked well for me for 20 years, but it's not exactly ergonomic. If you have a long keyboard with a keyboard attached, you need to extend the mouse further to the right. Over time, this increases the load on the right shoulder and arm. For a keyboard to be truly ergonomic, it cannot have a keyboard. That's why I fell in love with this product when I saw it. I just want them to stay true to the keyboard design by not having the F7 key on the left side and not having two extra columns of keys on the left edge of the keyboard.
