When we had to raise our dining table to install new chairs with armrests, these little lifters were just what you needed. They are the right shape and size, and can also be installed by yourself quickly and easily (some risers require you to lift the entire side and place multiple pieces at once, this is not the case). I didn't use the tape that came with it. to attach them to the table legs because I plan to sand and paint our table soon but it doesn't seem to affect the durability of these jacks. The table stays steady even when the kids are leaning on it, shuffling around, etc. I've placed some large moving boxes full of cooking supplies on the table after I've placed them and they don't look tired or worn due to the extra weight. Great product, highly recommend.
