I use this to connect my M1 MacBook Air to my monitor which also doubles as a USB hub. The previous cables I've tried - the cable that came with the monitor and the cable that came with the Belkin Thunderbolt Dock - worked about 80% of the time (had to unplug and plug it back in before it worked), and sometimes only sure things that were connected. in will work. These cables were also a bit stiff and required more force to connect and disconnect. This cable works every time I plug it in, it's a bit more flexible and easy to plug in and out but still fits snugly.
