READ FULL REVIEW - Purchased 4/1/21, used indoors for only 1 month and loved the look and feel of regular mini lights. I store my lights in the garage attic on a roll (pictured) and plug them in one last time to make sure they work. Just received these to light up our (artificial) Christmas tree on 11/17/21 and was very excited not to have to deal with the usual problems of old style 120v mini filament bulbs for the first time. Initially the joy wasn't there and I was very upset as all the other lights on both strings weren't working. Played around with power supplies as 1 has an internal template select button and the other has an external module - VALA! AGAIN JOY! I kind of flipped them when I was cleaning last season. As an electrician I don't know how to do this. They must have some sort of addressing technology as there are only 2 wires coming out of the power/matrix modules. However, what I liked most about this design is that it doesn't have a pluggable lamp connector that could fail. A plastic light bulb is nothing more than a cover for a permanently connected LED. I hope they continue to be your ticket to long Christmas cheer for years to come. (Added image of half-lit tree just for contrast)
