Review on 🐱 Angela&Alex Cat Perch: A Space-Saving Window Mounted Cat Bed & Window Hammock by Katie Johnson

Overall the feature is excellent. As others have said the suction cups are strong and I am confident my collar will not fall off. However, I have two main complaints: 1. The fabric is more like plastic (not particularly pliable and certainly not soft), but it smells like someone let loose a rabid gorilla in a chemistry lab. I washed it twice in the washing machine and it still smelled like chemicals. I'm not pleased and can't even imagine how my cat is feeling. For the most part, he avoided the bed after the first try. 2. Speaking of washing, the packaging says it's machine washable, but I'm not sure if that's true. Wash twice on a gentle cycle and the fabric looks completely moth eaten. I'll attach a picture for reference, but it already looks like it's falling apart. Overall I don't know if I would buy this again but all the complaints really come from a piece of fabric so it would probably be a 5 star rating if improved. Returns aren't worth it as the bed works as intended, but buyers should exercise caution when looking for a soft, odorless cat bed.
