Review on Motorcycle Headlight Ourbest Auxiliary Universal by Jason Ballard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great for the price offers good extra light

For the price they are great, have been on my daily commuter bike for a few weeks. The screw I am trying to ship is missing a rear screw holding the body together but still works fine. The sequence is disabled (one flashes and the other does not). I wish I knew how to bypass the different modes and just toggle them on and off. Switch it on/off a few times when one flashes and both end up on, probably one on high beam and the other on low beam, but I can't tell the difference in brightness. I think there is a timing reset for the sequence when the bike is off for about 30 minutes. When you first turn it on, it resets to the "on" position, so I rarely have to fiddle with turning both on. without anyone blinking. The mounting brackets are designed to mount to a straight vertical frame (can rotate the light left/right but no up/down angle adjustment) and are a bit small (probably won't fit the forks, and if they do, they'll point up). ). My solution was to drill out the slotted mount a bit and make a small vertical slotted section that the light attaches to so I can rotate it easily, allowing it to be mounted facing the road as no frame on a bike has a straight vertical is. Works well, bright, just what I needed to give more light to complement my headlight. Would buy again. I unplugged the spare wire from the ignition (Honda put it in the accessory socket, I used it to warm up the knobs and those lights instead), didn't use the controller.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from the testers
