Review on Clip Mirror Monitors Anywhere Modtek by Ebony Artis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

There are minor flaws but overall a good mirror at an affordable price

The mount on this mirror is designed so it's probably better if it can be fixed somewhere other than the monitor. Unfortunately I have no other place. Since part of the clip is very long, I have to put it all the way into the corner, which is fine just to prevent the clip from hitting the screen itself, but it's wider than the edge of my monitor, so it's blocking the picture. The screen is a bit off and occasionally slides around. The only problem with putting it all the way into a corner is that it makes my monitor a bit heavier, so my screen tilts to the right a bit (but not by much) instead of sitting straight and vertical. If you're not using a mount but have a stationary monitor, this shouldn't be a problem. It can also slip at times and end up bending or sliding to one side, so I just have to correct it from time to time. However, it works well and has a good rotating ball joint so I can tilt it however I want. This allows me to see the hallway behind me to see who is leaving which is all I needed. I'm only deducting one star as it doesn't always hold securely and the screen tilts under its weight. I think if the clip part was a bit thinner to account for the fact that it has to sit in the corner of the monitor and maybe there was some sort of rubber grip to hold it in place, not just that Plastic grooves that don't do it If the plastic monitor doesn't grip then it would probably be 5 stars. Overall it gets the job done and at a pretty reasonable price, definitely the best quality of the mirror itself and no warping or distortion like I've seen on most of these guys. computer mirror.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
