We needed a new bath liner so we wouldn't break our butts or heads in the shower. Rubber duckies no longer fit. Even with regular brushing, they became, hmm, not at their best. When looking for a replacement, this rug caught my eye as I figured the holes in it would allow less water to collect and dry faster. Plus the price was great. I put the thing in the bath as soon as it arrived. The suction cups did NOT play with the bathtub floor mount. Brilliant! What I didn't expect was that the holes also doubled into tiny suction cups on my legs when I later hopped in the shower. It's not octopus grip level by any means, but I do feel like the mat "snaps" onto my wet bare feet in the shower, adding extra security to the no longer slippery surface of the mat itself. I think it's about as safe as I've felt in the shower in quite some time, and I dig it. I am very happy that I found this rug and will recommend it to all my friends who are looking for a new shower mat. And you, dear reader. This is a gripping mat that is worth the price they charge (especially if you don't care about the color and go for the cheapest option they have)!
