Works better than expected

The receiver is located 1500 feet from a very powerful 1030MHz transmitter. Without the filter I have 0 planes. After adding a splitter/filter I can pick up planes 300 miles away (the antenna is line of sight to the horizon). I liked it so much that I bought a replacement.
