THE MOST IMPORTANT REVIEW OF ALL

I'm doing some voice acting and some acting. I liked that they included both a foam pop filter and a two-layer mesh filter. I haven't tried the mesh filter yet, but I can say that the foam filter is very suitable for a procaster. The only doubt I have at this point is that the standard Rode mounting kit (which comes with the Procaster) is not strong enough to hold your own mic on this stand. Maybe it's just user error as it seems to work in certain orientations but not in others. IF YOU HAVE A DESK IT WILL NOT WORK! Please make sure you use a flat table as the base for this mount is bigger than my ego. Also, the bottom of the arm is held in place by the downward pressure of the rest of the arm, so this mic arm is not suitable for inverted mounting. It's also important to use a lighter microphone to ensure the best experience. Microphones like the Rode Procaster (745g/1.53lb) are not very reliable with this setup. BUT Shure SM58, 57, Beta 87A, Neewer BM-800, Blue Yeti, Blue Snowball and other lightweight mics should work reasonably well on this stand. Just make sure your mic isn't as heavy as mine and you'll get phenomenal results. Good job by Tonor on this build overall, including everything they've done at this price point. I'm just picky because I know someone else would want something super high end at a super low price. In that case, it's better to get a Blue Compass, Rode PSA1, or anything over $50. That's a pretty steep price to pay for something like this, but are you really going to protect the diamond with the skin of a potato? I do not think so. hope this was helpful to you all. Hooray! I received compensation for this review.
