Used for a small camera and a very large/heavy scope. If you try to use the scope digitally, it's too light - it shakes a lot when you try to take a picture. But if you just want to browse it, it works great. For large/heavy scopes, the legs should be as far apart as possible to ensure stability. This makes a very low mount which suits me as I have a scope with an angled eyepiece and I usually use it off the bench. This is very good for a smaller camera. Haven't tried it with a heavy DSLR, just a bigger point and shot.
