Review on πŸ§” Organic & Natural Dark Brown Beard Dye - Grizzly Mountain Beard Color by Ashley Janney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The color convinced me!

My beard is almost completely white. I've been using JFM for quite some time and am torn between 'True Black' which looks a bit too harsh, and 'Dark Brown' which looks pretty good for the most part. (My original "young" color is almost black.) Recently, however, I've noticed some itching on my face. After reading the JFM horror stories in Revain Reviews, I figured it would be better to find a more natural alternative than to push my luck any further. I've only used Organic & Natural twice - last night and the night before so this is an early review which I'll be sure to update but so far so good. I applied it for the first time two nights ago. I mixed as directed and as other reviewers have said there was a ton of product. However, I smeared as much on my beard as I could. It smelled of alfalfa; No chemical smell at all. I left it on for 30 minutes and then washed it off in the shower with mild soap. Of course, my beard had a greenish tint. But the instructions indicated that it should be. Another beautiful thing is that he did not stain anything and everything he touched. I woke up yesterday morning and the green tinge was gone. My beard didn't look dark enough so I repeated the process last night, only this time I only blended half the amount I did last night. This time without the real green cast. This morning my beard looks very nice! Depending on how this week goes, I plan to apply every Sunday evening. An interesting note: while the product smells like alfalfa, my beard smells faintly of campfire - that's the only way I can describe it. I'll see if it goes away over time. Overall I am very impressed with this product. UPDATE: 5 days have passed since my second application. I notice a slight purple tint in certain lighting conditions (fluorescent lights at work, bright daylight, etc - see attached photo). Maybe indigo in the mix? There are several questions and answers that accompany the product regarding this, stating that it is caused by the alcohol in the soap you use or the alcohol you ingest orally. I don't drink and try not to wash my beard with soap too often. I can see what happens after the third application.
