We bought this mount for my wife's home office desk which has 2 x 27 inch monitors and her laptop. Her previous monitor stand was a metal bar with another metal bar across, and this made it impossible for her to adjust monitors independently or adjust the height without a screwdriver. This solves all these problems. The way the arms work gives you plenty of options for adjusting the height, width, rotation, etc. The various joints were either very tight or too loose, but the included tools took care of that with a little brute force. It was easy to mount on her desk (we used a clamp mount, but the other option looked solid too) and didn't wobble no matter how hard she squeezed the monitors. Best of all, the height adjustment means monitors can finally be moved higher than the laptop screen. The only downside is that the armrest style takes up some real estate on your desk to take full advantage of the adjustment options. Her desk is against the wall, so that loses her personality a bit. Nevertheless 4.5 stars = 5 stars!
