Works well. The biggest problem I see is that unless your laptop is flat like a Surface laptop or MacBook, it will slide right over the bumper if you're not careful. There is a rubber strip to prevent this, but maybe they should have made the stop a bit higher instead. I didn't realize the pillow was made of the same material as the beanbag and I have some doubts about it. It's not as comfortable as a regular pillow and it shifts too easily. If you're looking for something cheap for a laptop, this will do.
