I love these lights. I bought two sets to hang on the tree outside and wear all year round as the colors can be changed to suit any event or holiday. Unfortunately, they didn't work consistently the first time and didn't work together. I notified the seller who promptly sent me the third set for free! Excellent customer service. The third set paired well with the first set and now I have beautiful lights! There are 16 different colors to choose from, some patterns and some color pairs to match. They're all preselected and you can't change the combinations, but they're still very good. The remote control is handy, but you have to be near a small switch on the light cord itself for it to work. I put the switch in a ziplock bag so the outside doesn't get wet. (The box is cheap plastic, not weatherproof, and the only part of the lanterns that doesn't impress with its construction.) The lights themselves are larger than garlands but smaller than typical Christmas lightbulbs. The sheathing of the wires is transparent, but takes on a gray cast due to the concealed wiring. Although the wires on the tree are almost invisible. Because the wire is a neutral color, it goes well with any interior or exterior decor. I can only recommend these lamps!
