The lack of a display is not an impediment as my other DMR radio has a display but it's impossible to easily program anything on the fly so what's the point. This radio sounds solid, sounds great, has all the features and modes you need in a DMR. 16-channel selector switch, but you can switch zones with the side buttons. The radio talks with channel information when needed. Light. Comes with charger, extended antenna, headphones, etc. We will likely buy more of these devices in the future.
