Bought these to make changing spark plugs on my cars easier. The magnet will hold the spark plug in place when you remove it from the spark plug well or other hard-to-reach place, and will also hold it in place when you replace the spark plugs. Used it today on my 2003 Honda CRV with deep spark plug holes. Kept the plugs securely in the socket when removing the plugs and held them securely in place as I lowered the plug into the well and began threading. Last time I did it I used the old heater hose trick. Using a magnetic socket is much better. I recommend this tool. One note - one of the first nozzles I received turned out to be defective (the magnetic ring pressed inside cracked and did not fully seat). The item was immediately replaced with no problems.
