Review on 🧽 PONY EFFECT Block Sponge Foundation Blender: A Versatile K-Beauty Makeup Sponge for Precise and Flawless Coverage by Crystal Smith

I recently purchased a new Beauty Blender and Pony Effect Block Sponge and they arrived the same day. I could literally compare them side by side and found the bangs sponges to be way better than the Beauty Blender (and I've been using BBs for years!). I like to use my sponges when wet, and PE sponges tend to shrink and stretch a lot, as does BB. What I love most about plastic sponges is that the material is dense yet soft to allow for smooth and easy makeup application. When using foundation the makeup stays fairly superficial in the sponge so I can apply it all over my face and see how the foundation feels on my skin. I feel like BB absorbs 50% of my makeup (what a waste!) and doesn't offer that much coverage. I have found that the trick to using these sponges is to apply them and "jump" instead of wiping or using a sliding motion. This provides better coverage and a smoother finish. While I like BB's egg shape (easier to wrinkle), I might as well use PE sponge for corners. For half the price of 1 BB I got 7 PE sponges! I find it to be much more hygienic in the long run. That's a great price for a quality product. I just gave my mom some sponges, there are more than enough!
