My daughter is a size 2 in most tennis shoes (the back is our standard) and we really had to go half a size down to get them to fit. Leather shoes (like these) will stretch and flex a bit, so it's probably best if they start fitting snugly. I know sometimes people buy canvas shoes and they don't stretch, but these do. We bought both sizes and returned size 2 and kept size 1.5. We had no trouble returning them as they were listed as free returns. Raven is great at it!
