as strong as welded steel. Amazing Things

Approx. I use a lot of velcro. I very often attach things like communications equipment, power packs etc. to helmets for use in 200 mile races and motorcycles and for use in open cockpit airplanes. I've spent thirty years searching for the best Velcro and found that some are better than others. I thought the double lock type was the best, but these are minor things. This is the stuff of legends. Today I attached a small strip to the power supply, then to the helmet and realized I put it in the wrong place. So I tried to remove the external battery from the velcro. I just couldn't take it off. I couldn't take it off at all. Power bank bent and creaked. I probably messed it up. I only got it off because part of the velcro that attached to the helmet came loose meaning the adhesive between the velcro and the helmet wasn't working. That's the only reason the film didn't get a 9. However, I am hoping that as the sticky side cures on the surface within 24-48 hours it will become much stronger. Yes, the surface has been treated with alcohol. Otherwise, my advice is to start with a much smaller piece than you think you'll need to attach. You can add more at any time. That's an amazing slip. By far the strongest I've ever used in my life.
