Review on πŸ‘“ SOOLALA Memory-Metal Frame Aviator Reading Glasses with Customized Strengths by Glen Sprout

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good glasses, good price, great case but with some problems.

The lenses are quite good and accurate. Frames are flexible. They were fine for a few weeks. But they warp a little, and the nose pieces in particular keep shifting when I put them in my pocket, causing them to sit unevenly on my face and become uncomfortable until they align. They can be easily adjusted, but I'm wondering how many times I can do this before the metal gets tired and the lugs just snap off. They come with a very nice case and pouch that protects them but I will never use them as I put my glasses on and off too often. Inserting and removing them dozens of times a day (if not more often) is just not practical. The glasses should be in my reach NOW and then out of my sight as soon as I'm done with them. You can't do the classic bifocal thing of looking down to read and up to see clearly at a distance. With them, you can only read clearly because your distance vision becomes blurry. Obviously, this exacerbates the need for a quick on-off capability for those of us with more active lifestyles. However, it would be great for those who just read while sitting in a certain place or multiple times a day.

Pros
  • Lens height: 42mm
