Very Pleased best in my review

I purchased this to use as an extra attention-getting brake light for my motorcycle. It is exactly as described. And it is VERY bright. In fact, it has a feature I don't recall being mentioned, a high and low intensity setting. I would probably have regarded it as unnecessary, but as it turns out it is perfect in this application. I put a switch in place that I refer to as the Day/Night switch, allowing me full intensity during the day, and the lower setting when I ride at night. The high intensity would be blinding to a driver right behind me at night, but the low is perfect. I am very pleased with this product. I suppose the only remaining question is longevity and of course only time will tell. You should be aware that the various functions require the attachment, sometimes momentary, of different wires. Mine is wired to my brake light, so I didn't need an On/Off switch. But if you want to be able to change the flash patterns (I picked one and kept it), or in my case the intensity, after installation, additional switches will be required.

Pros
  • I used these for an operator alert device, they are plenty bright enough for this application.
Cons
  • The light is not weather-resistant and can malfunction in extreme weather conditions
