These are strange shoes. It's like having shoes that someone else tried on and their feet don't roll in well. Out of the box they were angled inward towards my arches. Putting them on made me feel worse than I thought. You can see the extreme angle in the photo. Also, the right shoe fabric didn't lay flat and curled on its own, and in the same place, the insole was sticking out at such a weird angle that I could feel it. If these shoes were straight up and down like most shoes, they wouldn't be so weird. I had to force my ankles up to withstand the impact from the outside edge of the shoe. Fits awfully.
