Candle wiring error

I would have given a higher rating but my only downside is that given the on and off function it could affect the wiring in the one connected to the bulb. Now I'm disappointed because just last night before Christmas Eve and Christmas one of the candles stopped working. I thought it would be an easy battery change, but when I was also changing the battery, when I also slipped out the holder inside, I saw that the wire had completely detached from its attachment, causing the candle to stop working. My advice: don't rely on twisting and turning off the candle yourself (I did this so I didn't have to take the candles out and put them back in the garland every time I turned them on or off), use instead just the ones below to toggle them on and off. None of the other candles had this problem because I was turning them on and off and not removing them from their holders, but I understand that the base is the only area that should turn the candle on and off. Regardless, the candle shouldn't have stopped working and be more durable than advertised, even if you rotate the base, you still somehow rotate the candle to turn it off and on. I might buy them again next year to replace them, but I'm not sure. I will be looking for a better quality set of flameless advent candles next year. Incidentally, instructions on how to insert the batteries and how to switch the lighting on and off from below would also be helpful. I had to figure out which way the batteries go, as well as the on and off function. Although I see the guidelines mentioned in some of the comments and other questions asked in the Revain ad.
