In an effort to use more natural products in my home, I purchased this laundry detergent based on the reviews I read here hoping it would be safer for my family and the environment. I'm very sensitive to perfumes and I can't stand most perfumed detergents. My body knows the difference between artificial and natural flavors, so I have no problem with the subtle grapefruit scent in this product. In fact, I like to have something inside that will add a touch of freshness to my underwear without causing a headache. I have no problems with this detergent. It seems to clean my clothes well and we didn't have a sensitivity to it in the family. I have two boys under 4 and it removes their dirt and stains just as well as Tide did before I switched to it. I recently ran out of a regular pitcher of Biokleen Laundry Liquid, Citrus Essence, 64 oz and bought the large size as I plan to stick with this brand for a long time! I also highly recommend the Biokeleen Bac-out product! When I'm washing something that smells or is heavily soiled, I spray it on my laundry and it works wonders (especially for smells). I've also used it on carpets and household spills and messes and love it.
