No function at all
They are very light and not really suitable for cold weather work. They also fit VERY poorly with gaps between each button and unless you're "innie" your bridal gear will be hanging out of them all the time. Definitely not suitable for a modest man. So if you want to walk like an exhibitionist in a clown costume, get a pair. If you're looking for something functional, this isn't it.
