This stuff works great if you follow the directions. (As countless reviewers have pointed out, spray poo-pourri down the toilet before you leave.) My problem with this: When you hold the spray bottle down, nothing comes out. Like most aerosol cans, it must be held level (or pointing up) for the sprayer to work. When you tilt it down, the liquid inside rises up the suction tube in the bottle, so the pump can't push anything. The only solution I have is to get my hand and the poo pourri bottle low in the toilet, position it as high as possible and press the spray button with my thumb. Lots of distortion for a nice smelling bathroom. :-) Update after a month of learning: what I said above is still true, but if you're buying a small (1.4 ounce) poo-pourri, there's a pretty simple workaround: keep the bottle with yours Thumbs on the atomizer. Pump, finger down, as shown in my photo. This allows you to place the bottle upright in the toilet for the atomizer to work.
