My two analog buttons are destroyed. Rather than shelling out $60 for a new controller, I decided to see if I could go the cheap route and figured it would be fun to just try something like a project. Actually it wasn't a big project, it was quite easy and quick to fix. The package comes with all the necessary tools. They give for the buttons so stop fixing it again. All I had to do was unscrew the four screws on the back of my PS4 controller and open the controller with the tool that came with it. Then I loosened another screw on the circuit board. I took out the old analog buttons and put in the new ones. I twisted them slightly while pressing to fully seat them. I don't repair electrical stuff and was wondering and a bit expecting that this would be a big mistake but it was actually quick and easy. You have to be a little careful not to pull on the wires, as long as you don't grab them by hand you should be fine. I also like the new analog keys, they aren't as smooth as the original ones, they actually have a grainy feel so they fit my fingers well.
