Review on The Timeless Wonder: Slinky 60100 Original Brand Unleashes Classic Fun by Bill Dahl

They're not as good and certainly not as I remember them. I ordered these because my 4 year old daughter spotted the tight dress when she won a cheap plastic dress at Chuck E. Cheese. It quickly became confused and I told her I would buy her a new one. This was what I bought thinking it would work better as it's metal. Boy was I wrong. It looks like a pretty cheap imitation compared to the old thin ones. It gets tangled almost as easily and doesn't climb stairs at all. The base is too light and the whole thing drops off immediately instead of slowly flowing from step to step as intended. It's a shame that a smart brand ruined such a timeless toy.
