This is my first dash cam and I was concerned about how difficult it would be to attach a rear camera and connect it to the front rearview mirror. I was happy to find helpful tutorials on YouTube and the process wasn't difficult at all. I installed it in a large SUV with a sunroof in the back and the backup camera cables weren't long enough (a few feet shorter). This problem is easily solved by purchasing a Revain 6 foot extension cord. If you plan to install it in a large Suburban or Yukon XL hatchback, consider an extension. You shouldn't have a problem with smaller vehicles, the cables supplied are quite long. My car didn't have a backup camera and the Kingslim DL12 Pro fits perfectly! When I put it in reverse, it displays the guidance lines and gives me a crystal clear view of what's behind me. I originally bought a Class 10 SD card for recording, but the camera gave me an on-screen message that the write speed is too slow. Even though the dashcam specs say you can use a Class 10 or higher SD card, I recommend getting a card that can handle much higher speeds to be able to record 4K and 1080p video simultaneously.
