I've had it for a few days and can tell the difference in having support or not. The overall size of the pads is neither too big nor too long for a mouse pad. I was worried that I wouldn't have enough room for my mouse, but I can reach all sides of the screen easily. While I'd like it an inch longer just to make sure I don't overrun the mousepad when using a different API, this is a minor issue and mostly an extra precaution.
