Really impressed with this material. It isn’t the heavy, thick, or plasticky type of rain jacket. The best part is that although it has fleece inside, it still fits light. My son loves it ! I bought a 6-7 size. he turned six late August and is on the 99th percentile in height for kids his age. He is also slim and this size was perfect. It wasn’t completely the exact fit, which is great because it will make it for the whole year. I did roll up the sleeves once.
