When the FM signal got weak the radio fell into monophonic tone. When you pay good money for a sound system and get poor reception, it's frustrating. This digitally amplified AM/FM radio antenna does TWO things I love. First, it amplifies the signal in the system. The signal was so weak it hissed and oscillated between stereo and mono. The new antenna eliminated the noise and the stereo was strong and consistent. The second and unexpected compromise is the factory supplied antenna cables which are taped to the wall for this slim antenna. It fits perfectly with my sound system. Very satisfied.
