Review on 💡 Sunlite PL13 SP65K 13W Fluorescent Bulb by Vickie Kraus

As a network TV engineer in Hollywood, one of my challenges was going from NTSC TV standards to ATSC TV standards, or simply Hi Def TV ! We removed the old ones and installed the new ones. In HD viewing rooms, we follow the SMPTE RP-166-1995 standard for viewing room lighting. The gear we buy is expensive, but it works. What does that have to do with the above. Well, the color temperature of the system is 6500 Kelvin. The lamps I am reviewing here are 6500 Kelvin. With a $10 lamp and these bulbs, for about $40 I can recreate what we spent hundreds of dollars on. And yes, backlighting your flat screen is really worth it. Less eye strain and improved black level perception. Long lamp life, smooth performance, correct color temperature. Winner!
