** See updated opinion below ** I've been using this headset for a few months now. I upgraded from Void Pro. In general, the sound is excellent, especially surround. Here you can rotate 360ยฐ in FPS games and hear "footsteps" on the R6. The headset is very tight on the ears. The best part is that you can play on PC and PS4 without a separate headset. I only have two negative points. The microphone will occasionally loosen up if you move it away from your mouth when trying to drink or eat during long gaming/editing sessions. Sometimes it will seem like you are speaking but he is not listening. So I suggest checking this out if you've ever muted a mic or are using a different mic. The second negative is the wire. Slowly loosens over time. Basically, every time you remove the headset from the cable, the cable slowly rotates. It's easy to just take it off and twist the twist. No big deal just tired of spinning. The reason I chose the wired headset was for cross-platform play between PC and PS4. Otherwise it's been a great headset so far. I will update my review in about 6 months due to wear and tear. So far it's holding up pretty well. Updated on 5/5/2020. So I've been using it for over a year now. I'm actually very disappointed with how worn the headset is. The skin on the headband was beginning to peel off, quite a lot. It sticks to your clothes and head after you take it off. Check out the photos to see what I mean. For this reason I deducted a star. To be honest the only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because of the price and how well it's aged it just isn't worth it. Maybe if it was $99. But at $179 I just can't justify it, the other thing I hate is how tangled the cord is. I always seem to spin it. Hope that helps
