Toddler loves this little box! I didn't want a regular rollator for safety reasons and the way kids walk in it isn't really conducive to walking. With this baby, the baby really takes steps and is much easier to control than a wheeled walker. There's a bit of a learning curve, so be prepared to assist and follow closely if you're using it for the first time. One day my child settled in even though it was free! After a few weeks his balance has improved and he can even bend down to pick up toys with one hand on the box. He also likes to drum on the top and unfortunately likes to gnaw on wood when teething. I bought him when he was almost 8 months old and could stand on his own. I'm taking off a star because I think the build quality could be better. The instructions say not to over-tighten the screws so you don't split the wood, but not over-tightening creates a gap that double-tightened my arm. Also, it seems to loosen over time and you have to re-tighten the screws to prevent this gap.
