I wanted to use this when I'm sitting on the couch and planning while watching TV. Love the colour, it's solid but once you sit down and put it on your lap I think it's big. Unfortunately this did not happen. it works for me I put it on my desk and measured from the table top to the end of the table on my lap and it came out to about 9.5 inches. If it were a little lower it would be perfect for me. I missed the return window so I'll stick with it. This can come in handy if someone is sick/bedridden while eating.
