My daughter slept like a princess on this mattress. This is a good strong and thick foam. No bad smells and it didn't take long for it to expand. She was already 14 months old when we ordered it so I can't speak any other way about small babies but I'm sure it sleeps well for her too because you can tell the difference in firmness. I just want it to be easier to travel with, but that might change its quality.
