Edit: I've had this thing for a year now and it broke. He goes on to say that he has a flaw and he shouldn't have so many flaws that it takes days to do the job it was made to do. Eventually I broke down and paid more for Best Buy's Scan Disk brand (which is only compatible with the iPhone since I've had one) and I had to use it all the time. It took me an hour and a half from start to finish to transfer about 11,000 photos from my phone to a flash drive and onto my computer using Scan Disk. This journey would take me several days. Just avoid it. I honestly can't really understand how it can get such good reviews. It took me a little time to figure out the software for this. The app was easy to install, but it kept freezing. Images are copied quickly if no errors have occurred. Here are some tips I've learned: Make sure your phone's battery is fully charged before copying pictures. I had over 8000, had to back up and it was draining my battery fast. If an error occurs, click Next. If you get more errors than not, turn off the device and try again. If possible, make smaller parts of the pictures. I basically had everything in one album (I have an iPhone) so it was a bit difficult. I'm not sure why this thing had an I/O layer error right away? But I clicked "Next" anyway. In short, he does what he has to do. It only hurts sometimes. But I do know it's a lot easier than connecting your phone to your computer the old-fashioned way (especially since I kept getting "device not found" when going that route)!
