If you plan on storing multiple coins on it, get Nano X, if you use it as a backup for your Nano X, this will do the job. The most frustrating thing about the S version is the amount of coins you can store. 3 at best. If you store BTC, ETH and whatever, that's all you can store with quick access. Yes you can uninstall the app, install another one to generate an address, write down the address and uninstall the app to reload the 3 you had there, but that means every time you want to use that fourth less common coin, you are you have to repeat the process of deleting the application, install that coin, use it, then delete it again and reinstall the third one you had. Selling in 2020 should be unacceptable hence a low star rating. I don't see any technical reason why they can't just upgrade this device with some more memory. Ledger Live, the app for managing your coins, is fine, but it has its downsides. For example, if you use two devices to manage your coins, you need to make sure you install the same coin apps on each device (Android PC, etc.). Otherwise, it's easy for multiple devices to be out of sync with each other in terms of the coins you have on the ledger. I don't understand why Ledger Live can't safely retrieve all coins generated on Ledger every time you connect it instead of installing the app through Ledger Live every time and repeating the whole process mentioned above. in regards to the 3 coin limit. Additionally, for many coins, Ledger Live requires the installation of a third-party software wallet on your PC or Mac. Examples are XMR and NEO. So now you can easily install half a dozen software wallets as Ledger can generate keys but not manage transactions.
