Review on Durable Dimmable Edison Industrial Decorative Electrical Lighting Components for Chrome Equivalent Fixtures by Rhonda Babson

Too dark to work on next to nothing! And so ugly

I hated those lightbulbs more than I thought. I can't use them in a place where I can see a lightbulb because gold is so flashy, it's shiny, tasteless and ugly. (And then when you turn them on, they go half black, like they're dirty or covered in soot.) So all my industrial fixtures that I want a lightbulb on are off. And any light fixture that has a lampshade or cover is out too, because these bulbs have the brightness of a candle! The brightness is so bad, I mean really bad. I like softly dimmed lights before bed, but at this level of light, it's impractical to even see. Also, it casts a dark, muddy orange hue on anything that's depressing and looks like an old smokehouse. All of my photos looked whiter, but the actual light was orange and dull, even though the tint was white. He made the shade orange. In my photos the light seems even brighter than it really is because my phone turned up the brightness so it can focus! I'm not exaggerating when I say it looks like a single candle. Because half of the bulb is covered with an opaque coating, little light that passes through the floor is directed in one direction, and you waste a lot of electricity as half the light is wasted. It's like a 5 watt lightbulb that draws the same power as a 50 watt lightbulb but with 5 watts of brightness.
