I chose the larger of the two sizes for my 12 year old bag and it is too big. We are very happy with the quality. His LAX stick fits into an outside pocket (although it would have been nice to have a snap strap to keep it there). The bag is HUGE. Perhaps a tall guy should get this large size to accommodate large shoulder pads, but for my 12 year old (lumpy build) I should have ordered a smaller one. We love the carry strap and it has a separate helmet compartment which is very handy, much like a shoe bag. The top opens in a semi-circle, making it easy to insert and remove the ear pads. It also has a square bottom so it fits better than a round holdall. My son loves that it was designed for LA and has the same branding as his wand on the outside of the bag. We like it but it's too big. I'll probably order a smaller one.
