I was very happy with this thing when I first got it. It looks good and is very functional. But parts started chipping within days, and it's not hard to see why. The thing is held together by tiny internal pins (I won't even call them nails) that won't hold even with the slightest pull. You should never use nails to keep a pulling force in the same direction as the nail as the wood will slide off immediately. This piece of furniture is good proof of that. Had it been held together properly with screws, nails at the right angles, or something that could hook the wood, my review could have been completely different. But whatever the case, don't expect this thing to stay safe and sound for long.
