This is a very easy Arduino upgrade. I'll be using this in a LiDAR project where I've encountered the real-time processing limitations of the traditional Arduino. They are very easy to use in the Arduino IDE:1. Add STM32Duino Board Manager to Arduino2. Install "STM32F1xx Boards by stm32duino" 3. Install "Arduino SAM Boards (32-bit ARM Cortex M3)" if not already done. THIS WAS A STEP THAT TURNED ME. The old version of the Arduino IDE included this by default, but some of them (including the version from the Windows 10 App Store) didn't. Switch the software jumper on the STM32F1 to "1"5. wired programmer 6. Press the reset button 7. Click Download. Of course, once you've "graduated" the Arduino IDE or need additional power, the code for the STM32F can be compiled directly.
